It is solid enough to survive a few trips to the lan center without feeling like one mis step would destroy this costly piece of equipment. The removable palm rest is easy to remove if your desk or lan center is as tightly packed as a can of sardines. The removable USB cable that attaches at a right angle is also a nice touch allowing the cable to tucked away nicely and not run into a monitor or any thing else that may be on the desk. The linear tactile feel of the Cherry Black Mechanical switches is familiar to anyone who has used a mechanical keyboard in the past and has an easy learning curve for those finally making the upgrade.
