Elgato Game Capture HD Setup and Settings for a PS3 w/ Headset Tube. Duration : 4.00 Mins.
This is a quick set-up/ settings video for the Elgato Game Capture HD for a PS3 and any type of headset that uses an optical input. If you want to know if your headset will work with the elgato click this link support.elgato.com ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- To use a headset that uses 3.5 mm headphone jack: www.amazon.com www.amazon.com ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- TIPs: When done capturing with this device go into the video folder where the device stores info and delete the extra video content. This will save a bunch of system memory If you don't want to record footage but still want to play a game you can simply plug the USB into your PS3 instead of a computer so that the device can pass the video through --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Things That may be unclear: 1) The Component/ D-Terminal is connected to the Capture Device 2) For the audio settings I choose optical digital because the optical cable goes straight into my mix amp for my Trittons 3) Set up your primary audio out first because all other audio being output will be in a 2 channel format (This sounds bad if you have a surround sound headset) 4) Under accessory settings, regardless of where the output is going you will still be able to hear it through your headset ...

Unboxing and Setup of the Elgato Game Capture HD (PS3 & Xbox 360 Recorder HDMI) Tube. Duration : 13.82 Mins.
Unboxing of the brand new Elgato Game Capture HD device which is a game console recorder that can record using HDMI cables and the PS3's High Definition A/V Cables. ►For those asking about headsets, may I direct your attention to the Elgato Support page which explains how to use your Headset with the Elgato Game Capture HD: support.elgato.com ►I spent a long time correcting the transcript so this review is 100% suitable for people with hearing disabilities or people that are deaf. Click the 'Turn on captions' icon in the bottom left for a accurate transcript :) Review (PS3 only as I cannot vouch for Xbox): The device is the smallest game capture device available today to record PlayStation 3 consoles and Xbox 360 consoles. It can record in 1080p on PS3 and 1080p on Xbox 360. I really like how Elgato have included all of the cables that you will need to get started recording straight away and the software required to record is available for free download from www.gamecapture.com. Setting up the device is very easy as is requires only connecting a few cables. It is important to reset display settings once you connect it to the Elgato and ensure that you carry out the steps I outline in the video. The software is every easy to use and I must say the flashback feature included is an amazing thing, it takes up not space of your hard drive when it is working in the background and is deleted upon exit of the program. It is very easy to record and only includes setting up the ...
